This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

A large fleet of tallships emerges from a hazy North Sea. It marks the start of the nautical event Sail Den Helder 2017.
I was on the shore waiting for all this to happen and watch the beautiful tallships from all over the world to go by. I had a great time doing that.
This photo appeals to me because it shows the atmosphere of the moment. While waiting and hoping for the ships to appear on the horizon, they suddenly do. Those are great moments to capture.
